Garden Lighting
Enjoy your garden after dark. Energy-efficient lighting that highlights trees, lights pathways and makes outdoor spaces welcoming and safe at night.
Make the garden part of your evenings
Garden lighting extends the hours you get out of your outdoor space. We use energy-efficient lights to highlight trees, brighten pathways, and make your garden feel welcoming and safe at night.
Good garden lighting is subtle: a few well-placed uplights on trees and walls, soft path lights for safe footing, and warm colour temperatures that make a space feel inviting rather than floodlit. It’s easiest to plan during a landscape build, but most gardens can be retrofitted.

How it works
Our Process
Plan
We work out what to highlight, where people walk and sit, and how you want the garden to feel at night.
Install
Cables are run neatly and hidden in garden beds and under paving, with fittings placed for effect without glare.
Set up
Timers, sensors or app control are set so the lights come on and off automatically.
Good to know
Planning your lighting
Layer the light
Combine feature uplights, soft path lighting and gentle lighting around seating for depth, rather than a few bright floodlights.
Choose warm white
Warm colour temperatures (around 2700–3000K) flatter plants and stone and feel relaxed.
Avoid glare
Aim fittings at what you want to see, not at eyes or neighbours’ windows.
Low voltage & safety
Most garden lighting runs on low voltage (12V) from a transformer. Any new mains (240V) power must be installed by a licensed electrician.

FAQ
Garden Lighting FAQs
- Can lighting be added to an existing garden?
- Usually, yes. Low-voltage cables can be run through garden beds and along edges with minimal disturbance, though it’s easiest during a landscape build.
- How is garden lighting controlled?
- With timers, dusk-to-dawn sensors or app control, so lights come on and off automatically.
- Is garden lighting expensive to run?
- Modern LED fittings use very little power, so running costs are low.
- Do I need an electrician?
- Low-voltage systems usually plug into an existing outdoor power point via a transformer. If a new outdoor power point or any mains wiring is needed, that must be done by a licensed electrician.
